Let me start with a basic introduction of the series. This book is called Immortal Templar, and is book 1 of 4. There are more characters and events to explore in the universe, but this series lays the foundation for all of that and is only intended as a quadrilogy.

This book follows the escapades of Thomas and Senna, two individuals who are very different from one another. The former is an old soul that is lazy, irresponsible, and only does things he finds interesting. The latter is a giant ball of anger that hates everything in the world except for Thomas, wanting nothing but for him to be safe and successful.

The book, strictly speaking, isn’t litRPG. It is a unique type that incorporates elements from fantasy, eastern fantasy, and science fiction. There are mages, cultivators, heroes, supernatural creatures and more. I actually find it difficult to describe it all other than it is “me”.

I don’t even know how long this book has taken me, but it was supposed to be completed at the start of the year (it was actually completed several months ago), but this did not include editing times or any other stuff.

Both working and studying two courses, all of which at a full time schedule, have simply eaten too much of my time. Thankfully, one of those course is now complete, giving me much needed breathing room.

What’s next?

Next will be End Online volume 7. I need to go back and rebuild my internal wiki of items, characters, locations etc, before scripting out volume 7 and putting pen to paper.

I will also be releasing Immortal Templar here, but bear it mind it is the original, unedited version. While the plot is basically the same, there were a lot of changes made throughout the editing process. This means the free edition will actually be almost a different book in many ways, and there will be a lot more typos.

I will be doing this for several reasons. It allows me to give back to the community, it incentives people to purchase the book, and furthermore it should hopefully allow me to not violate KDP exclusive rights.

I will post the prologue chapters and chapter 1 in two days time, and then work on scheduling the remaining chapters to release at a rate of either one or two chapters per week.
