End Online: Chapter 35

Editors: genericIntent, Jack Vanatis, Johnist
Author’s notes: The final chapter of Volume 5! I have already finishing the rough plan for volume 6 and working on the next chapter, but it is still half a week away(estimated) from finishing the written stage.
The chapter plan for this chapter is now available on my Patreon. This one is available to everyone. If you don’t support me there currently, perhaps you will consider it. The Chapter 35 plan is separated into two parts as that is how it was originally planned (Half of chapter 34 and then 35, hence why the chapter itself is so long!)

Chapter 35: Assault, Grenton

-Mikhail-

“God damn it!” I curse vehemently and throw all the nearby paperwork around in the office shortly after disconnecting the V-Link.

“Mikhail, getting angry about it isn’t going to help,” Henry says as he stands in the doorway watching me with a frown.

I look over at him, trying to use a meditation technique to force the fury in me to calm, “Those arrogant little pricks simply slaughtered us when all I was doing was watching them. Now they messed up our plans!”

Chronicle of the Eternal: Chapter 4

Editors: Templar, Jack Vanatis
Author’s notes: There has been some changes to chapter 1 in regards to the Soulless. I wish to change it as they are not completely void of emotions. The Soulless are envisioned to be logical people with much more restrained emotions and the lack of being able to question themselves. In a way, you also could say they have no conscience. What they lack in emotions are the more complicated ones. The feel happy, sad, and angry; but lack feelings of love, empathy, partial humour, and will never know the feeling of not knowing whether to laugh or cry. I have inserted the major change from chapter 1 below the editors notes so you don’t have to re read the entire chapter 1 to find the difference.
The chapter plan for this chapter is now available on my Patreon page. I am currently excitably planning and about to start writing chapter 36 of End Online, among many other things in my to do list. I will update this here when it is available.
Editor’s notes:
The woman frowns upon reading the history of Regal Havier, a hint of scorn in her eyes. What she says isn’t entirely true. While he wasn’t as emotional as anyone else would have been, silent tears fell down his face when his parents left him a farewell note saying they have decided to enter the eternal rest. This was the most emotionally distraught state he had ever been in.

Chapter 4: Talent

On the fourth day of school, there are no practical lessons planned. Regal sits in his usual spot in class, listening and taking notes on what is determined to be common knowledge that everyone should have in this world.

The city of Theore has 47 floors, but not everyone can access all floors. Floors 1 through 9 are referred to as the lower district and are where all the common Immortalis reside. The stores mostly sell low quality goods with a few exceptions where average quality goods become available.

Floors 10 to 39 are called the middle district; well established families live here and have many high leveled members. Most of the larger guilds reside in the middle district in grand mansions that make people envious when seen.

Volume 5 Now Available

It’s currently incredibly late for me, but Volume 5 has finally finished Amazon’s reviews and is now available for purchase. All the readers who have been following for quite some time, I’m sure you realized chapter 35 hadn’t been published as I always release the completed book a week before releasing the last chapter.

For all of you that can’t wait another seven days, you can follow the link at the bottom of the post to Amazon.

Once again, I have forgotten to add myself in as a contributor and only the editors show under the book contributors. I, however, do come up as the publisher. There is no changes to the book, it just mean it won’t show up on my Amazon Author’s Page until the publishing finalizes in Amazon’s system and I can update it.

Another chapter of CotE coming tomorrow, along with a few updates to the other pages. I have also been thinking about creating a map (or maps) for the additional continents from Volume 6 onwards. It is a pain because I long since lost the original photoshop file with all the layers of the original map, so I will have to come up with a solution. But that’s alright, despite being inefficient, I am quite a good problem solver! ^.^

I will leave it at that. I hope you all enjoy! ^.^

Chronicle of the Eternal: Chapter 3

Editors: Templar, Jack Vanatis
Author’s notes: I am excited to bring you a new chapter of Chronicle of the Eternal. We are finally getting into the story and I have explained  most of what needs to be said by this chapter. I’ve tried to space it all out and incorporate it into the story to avoid the situation of an ‘info dump’, so hopefully you will enjoy! ^.^
The chapter plan for this chapter is now posted my Patreon page, visible to everyone who supports me by donating at least $1 a month. The plan is short as these chapters are shorter, but there are plenty of differences between the planned and written as usual. I have also formed a pseudo company relating to my drawings I am now calling Cr@ppy Artworks Inc.

Chapter 3 – Alchemy

When Regal awakens on the morning of the third day of school, the sky in Grand City Theore is much dimmer than usual as water showers down from above. The rain outside the city follows various pipe networks and other crevices, creating a light shower on all the floors of the city.

Outside the city the winds howl, carrying a biting cold rain as lighting snakes down from the sky. The storm is so violent that no one would willingly endure the elements. But, despite knowing when the storm is coming, there are still people every month who inevitably get caught in the tempests and return to Theore with colds and other status afflicting illnesses. End Online: Chapter 34

Editors: genericIntent, Jack Vanatis, Scott
Author’s notes: It’s a d-double chapter day. T-the excitement is g-giving me the j-j-jitters!
I had completely forgotten as of late but please take a minute to vote for End Online at TopWebFiction.com! Votes are reset weekly so even if you have voted before, please do so again. As there are two chapters released today, this would be a great way to show your support! ^.^
I am also skipping this chapter plan on my Patreon page. The plan is short and disgraceful. It is also on the same page as the plan for chapter 35. Actually, part of the chapter 34 plan was used in chapter 35 too!

Chapter 34: Battle for Supremacy Commence

-Lost-

As the moment of teleportation arrives,  a grey fog crackling with lightning surrounds us. Apparently, teleportation is a high-ranking spell and has the flashy graphical effects to go with it.

As fog and an occasional flickering discharge fills my vision, I begin to experience strange sensations all over my body. I feel as if I were falling through the air or beginning to drift off into sleep. The fog disappears as quickly as it appeared. Instead of being surrounded by the desert I was in mere moments ago, everything around me is covered in white. The sudden change in not only location but also temperature causes my pupils to dilate in shock. This is an area I have not been to in a long time: Iceridge.

Chronicle of the Eternal: Chapter 2

 Editors: Templar, Jack Vanatis
Author’s notes: Now that I have finished writing End Online Volume 5, I will work on writing a few chapters of the CotE to get further into the story. With this chapter, you will find CotE to have similar aspects to xianxia novels as well as litRPG. There is actually one particular aspect of the xianxia novels that heavily inspired me when working on my plan for the story. It is actually something that I tried to incorporate into EO but failed to do so. I have my bets on that none of you will be able to guess what part of xianxia novels that inspired me.
Also, It is a bit long to post here, so I have updated ‘The (Originally) Weekly Update’ with news about future CotE releases.
I am temporarily not posting chapter plans for CotE on my Patreon page as they are usually much shorter than those of End Online and with little variation between the plan and what is written. I am currently working on something new to post there so I will update you when it is ready

Chapter 2: Duel

Regal Havier’s home is a residence as ordinary as they come, consisting of two bedrooms, a single kitchen, small living area and bathroom. It’s a single story structure of brick and maple wood, harvested from the trees in the agricultural sectors several floors above. Bronze architecture decorate the front of the house, much like the rest of the street.

Regal’s parents left the house furnished with the few belongings they owned. Sofa, table, two beds, and a bookshelf. The bookshelf is mostly empty, a few books stacked on it. Books in this world are a valuable commodity as they are hand written. The reason there are so few books on the bookshelf is solely due to their high prices.

Regal’s father, Vincente, was an avid lover of fiction books, reading tales about other worlds or people gifted with the blessing of good fortune. He always wanted to become like the people described in these books, but good fortune never smiled on him so he could only read about those who fortune was exceptional, even if it was only fiction..
