Author’s notes: Fourth chapter release! Many of you probably wouldn’t call this a chapter. But I can assure you, this took even longer to write!! I am also planning on going back through Vol. 2 prior to publishing and using it as a reference to rescope some battles.
I’m not going to format this as I usually would as it is basically the entire chapter, and such massive character sheets are easier to read as is. I am still contemplating a Char Stats sheet for the beginning or end of Vol. 2

Regal’s Mutant Beasts.

Lande & Lore – Level 26 Iron Mountain Wolfs. Were originally level 16 Mutant Stone Beasts when contracted. They have the ability to attune with the earth, allowing them to sense vibrations through the earth or the minerals that are within the ground. By attuning to the Earth, they can reduce the vibrations from their heavy bodies and move silently. Their special attack is creating a slingshot effect when breaking their connection with the earth to perform a short lunge at frightening speed.

The two beasts evolved from Mutant Stone Beasts into Iron Mountain Wolves after eating and consuming a massive quantity of iron ore and are now classified as monsters by hunters. Their chances of successfully evolving went from less than 1% up to 20% when Regal shared their pain and relieved the burden on the beasts’ bodies. It is currently unknown whether they have a new special attack after evolving.

Hades – A level 18 Firestone Lizard, which is a mutated version of a rock lizard. Was originally level 14 when contracted, but defeating monsters and feasting on their flesh has led it to slowly level up. It views the world through thermography. It usually moves quite slowly but can move fast when needed. It’s special attack is to launch fireballs from its mouth.

  1. I don’t see soul authority under Regal’s? Also, if he left the two monsters in the dungeon does it mean that Soul Shackle could be maintained even at long distances?
