I also received an email from Amazon which could be either a false alarm, or bad tidings. This is what the email said:

Hello,

We’re writing about the following book:

Chronicle of the Eternal: Volume 1 by Wolfin, D (AUTHOR); Pierpont, Dylan (ILLUSTRATOR); Weinstock, Nathan (EDITOR); Vanatis, Jack (EDITOR); genericIntent (EDITOR) (ID:7573160)

During a review of your KDP submission, we found content in your book that is freely available on the web.  Before we can publish your book, you need to take one of the following actions within five days:

1.      If you hold the publishing rights for all of the content in this book, resubmit your book for publishing following the instructions provided below.
2.      If the book is in the public domain, please confirm the initial publication date of the work and the author’s date of death. By sending us the requested public domain information, you are giving KDP permission to publish this book on your behalf. We will contact you if we need additional information.
3.      If you do not hold rights for all of the content in this book, please remove the book following the instructions provided below.

If you publish books for which you do not hold the electronic publishing rights, we may terminate your account or you may lose access to optional KDP services.

Best Regards,

Amazon KDP

I will contact Amazon to ensure that everything is okay because I DO hold all electronic publishing rights as it is my novel. But should any issues come up, I may need to remove the free chapters available on my blog. After all, if Amazon closes my account I practically lose all my income that I live off. I believe that it is the former and that it is a false alarm, but I’m letting you all know now just in case.

so how much of a difference is the published book vs whats posted here, is there enough of a change to r- read the entire story or is it close enough that you could start from chapter 17 and not miss anything?

There’s not really any plot differences, more a bunch of terms were changed. Skills now come with descriptions, a bunch of little stuff.

It shouldn’t impact you to start from where chapter 17 left off though.

It links to the US store. Sometimes you need to go to the Amazon page for your country. There should be a link on the top RHS of the page if that’s the case.

I’m not sure if you actually need to go buy a kindle, but you probably need some sort of account with amazon, I usually just download a kindle app onto my phone and read it from there.

Done reading it. Started from Chapter 17. The side story was awesome. 3.99 seems like loose change for this kind of literary value.

Hello D. Wolfin, I’ve never commented on an authors website or anything before; yet I had to in this case. I read through all of your End Online series on my day off (thanks for enabling renting through Kindle Unlimited by the way, I’m rather lacking of funds at the moment.) After going thru those five volumes, I found this website address looking for Volume 6. The free chapters are a godsend, waiting for a new book in a series physically pains me. I’ll be sure to pick up Vol. 6 when available however.

Back to the point, I noticed you had released a new book series and immediately picked it up. I then didn’t put it down, brilliant read. Just enough similarities for me to feel comfortable (The way stats, skills, items read. Not to mention your penchant for agility builds :P,) while being exceptionally different at the same time. The take on steam punk is refreshing, and not at all overbearing as I find it to usually be.

You’re doing great work, keep it up!

FYI: I don’t remember which volume it was, but End Online, maybe Vol 2 or 3 had some odd errors in the writing. Maybe it was meant to read in a way my 3am addled mind just couldn’t comprehend, or I’m remembering another book mistakenly. Regardless, great work.

Was a great book. I finally broke down and bought it and it was even better than expected. I had followed end online all along and bought all the books but the fifth and didn’t think it would be as good. However, it really exceeded my expectations I would say it was even better than all your other books so far. I could tell how much work you and the team put in to it, keep up the good work.
